Green Bay Stadium Boards
History of Arthur Norgaards of Birch Creek and The Birch Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast
Arthur Norgaard, a well known businessman, had gained possession of the Green Bay Lambeau stadium boards to use as flooring in a barn being renovated as a unique fashion store opening March 14th, 1970. The seating numbers on the bleachers were exposed between the beams in the lower level of the main building.
After the passing of Arthur Norgaard in 1983, the complex was sold and renovations were done for a Bed & Breakfast named Birch Creek Inn.
A fire in 1999, caused by lightning destroyed the main buildings. After most of the rubble was removed, many of the Green Bay Stadium Boards were saved. The boards had been protected on top by dense foam padding and thick shag carpeting laid over plywood. The boards were carefully removed and stored since November 1999. We are now offering the Stadium Boards for sale.
